5KM RACE
5km Race Information
The 5km run is open to all participants over 8* years of age.

The 5km course has been certified by IAAF-AIMS for the 5km distance.
An IAAF-AIMS certification of the 5km course was completed on
24 March 2022.

Registration Tips
Parent/Child teams are entered into aggregate age groups, which are calculated by adding the two team members' ages together.
Start Details
Start Time for all divisions and age categories is 8.15am at the start line on Myahgah Rd beside Mosman Public School.

Race Divisions
The 5km race is divided into 2 divisions:

The Open Division
Open to all ages, broken into age group categories as detailed in the table below. Your age category is based on the age you turn during the 2025 calendar year.

The Child/Parent Team Division
For two-person teams of one adult and one child. Teams are entered into aggregate age groups which are calculated by adding together the two team-members’ ages (age they turn during the 2024 calendar year). See the table below for a full list of team categories and aggregate age groups.
Registering as an Accompanying Adult is only available for the 2km race. See further information on the 2km race page.
Adults participating as a part of a Parent/Child team must complete their own 5km registration.

Prizes
Every runner who completes the 5km course will be entitled to collect a commemorative medal.
For the 5km, a $150 voucher from The Athlete's Foot is awarded to the overall 1st place for both Male & Female.
