Mini-Mos and Mosman Public School Support Kids Giving Back

Mini-Mos raises funds for Mosman Public School (MPS) and its nominated charities. Our partner charity for 2025 is Kids Giving Back.

Money is raised for our nominated charity via direct donations from race participants during registration, and also from the school community via fundraising activities.
Mini-Mos is Mosman Public School’s main fundraiser and Australia’s longest running, consecutively held community fun run. A large number of people participate each year, either as a runner, spectator, fair-goer, supporter or organiser.

As a way of educating students and giving back to the community, Mini-Mos has aligned with a number of charities over the years to raise awareness of the causes these charities serve. Past Mini-Mos partnership charities have included The Unicorn Foundation, Autism Spectrum Australia, SeeBeyondBorders. Raise Foundation, Take 3 for the Sea and Be Centre Foundation.

Proceeds from race registrations, Mini-Mos t-shirts and our sponsors go directly to our school to support our students by providing resources, including additional teaching resources, new technology and ground improvements. Race participants can also choose to make a donation to MPS during race registration.

This year, donations received will go towards the MPS 5 year masterplan, a plan which includes a scope of works for playground and landscape focused projects to be undertaken by the P&C over the next 5 years. The first project, a sensory garden between the Kindy and the Mola was completed in 2023 and the second project, new shading sails over Gouldsbury playground is expected to be rolled out in 2024.
Mini-Mos funded initiatives have included the artificial turf soccer pitch, the soft-fall play surface, new line markings, play equipment, extra teaching assistants and air conditioning.
